Since Ruby Rose is out they need a new  Batwoman. There are talks about a new charecter taking over the Batwoman mantle. In My opinion that is a bad way to solve it, this is what I would do: Get Ruby Rose for One last episode, introduce Renee Montoya played by Stephanie Beatriz, have Kate getting badly hurt maybe going to a coma and Renee being there when it happens then Renee Montoya becomes the new Batwoman.
