Origin: Jay Garrick was an employee of forensic science, when he suffered a chemical accident, being bathed by chemicals after his laboratory being struck by lightning. This accident caused him to be able to access and channel the power from the "Speed Force" and, from that moment, able to run at top speeds, Jay then decided to become a superhero. It was given the name "Flash" at the age he was learning new skills.
